2017 - The design concept of the Architecture Heritage Center stems from the idea of taking the visitor through the journey of Architectural Heritage Discovery. This is achieved through activating the rooftops and linking them to level zero through a series of slopes and through the aid of visual axis. Moreover., The morphology of the building gives the impression of a sculptural nature with deep embedded stories and meanings. It gives the opportunity for the viewer to form a link between the physical product and the heritage and archaeological discourses. The over all shape of the building is meant to appear as a huge rock compilation that triggers a link with the natural context of the Najdi plateau.
