Project Description:

1996 - Al-Bashir Hospital is considered to be the main governmental hospital in Amman. Based on the development plan; Al-Bashir hospital rehabilitation will include upgrading and rehabilitating the hospital with addition of services over 25 years in three stages. Stages 1 and 2 included the new Maternity and Pediatric Department which holds up to 350 beds, as well as upgrading several existing facilities and service units along with building bridges to connect the hospital’s different departments to ease transportation. Whereas stage 3; mainly includes upgrading the General Surgery and Internal Medicine Department Building, which can hold up to 465 beds. This eight-story main building includes Outpatient specialty clinics, administration offices, Labs, study halls, along with a Library, a Restaurant, and storage areas.
